Shannon Anderson has been Emmett School District's 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21CCLC) grant director since 2012. The EMS before- and after-school program is in its first year at Emmett Middle School and will be offered through the 2024-25 school year.    The 21CCLC  grant is a FREE PROGRAM offered to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students attending Emmett Middle School. Academic skill building, homework help, tutoring, enrichment classes, clubs, and snacks are provided. Transportation is provided to designated drop zones in the community. 

  • Before-school weight lifting starting at 6:45 a.m. (OPEN TO ANY STUDENT).
  • After-school homework help and tutoring Mon, Tue, Thu 2:50-3:50 p.m., Wed 1:50-2:50 p.m. (OPEN TO ANY STUDENT).
  • After-school enrichment opportunities designed with student interests in mind, including cooking classes, arts and crafts, STEM activities, career fairs, CPR and first aid classes, games, friendships, recreational activities, and more Mon, Tue, Thu 3:50-4:50 p.m., Wed 2:50-4:50 p.m. (OPEN TO ENROLLED STUDENTS).
  • Community busing services are available as needed. 

Other 21CCLC programs currently offered in the school district and directed by Mrs. Anderson include kindergarten READY programs offered at both Shadow Butte Elementary and Carberry Elementary.
